Clark, CO  (2/10/2017)– For those who relish in doing, rather than lounging, a working ranch vacation might just be the ticket.  The Home Ranch, in Clark, CO, will feature a weeklong Working Guest Ranch Vacation from May 16-21.  A Relais & Chateaux designated ranch, guests will be involved in all kinds of activities to ready the ranch for its June 4 summer season opening.

Fixing fences, repairing trails, planting seedlings, riding horses and attending new wrangler orientation sessions are just some of the activities guests can participate in.  All meals are served bunk house style with guests and staff enjoying these casual family style gatherings.

The week will feature special guests who were previously Home Ranch employees.  Tim Assman, The Home Ranch’s Head Wrangler from 1990-1997 will be on hand along with Elana James, former Home Ranch Wrangler and Ranch Hand Band Fiddle player from 1992-1995.  Elana is now with Hot Club of Cowtown (Texas Swing Band from Austin, TX) will provide entertainment along with Home Ranch Director of Ranching Operations Director Michael Moon.
