
Celebrate Summer at Madison’s Edgewater with Three New Experiences
A Pontoon Boat, Bluegrass Music and Movies on the Water Highlight Each Offering
Madison, WI (6/12/2019) —The Edgewater, an urban resort, located on the shores of Lake Mendota announces three new summer packages that complement their lakeside setting and Grand Plaza events.
Guests can enjoy a Summer on the Water package featuring two nights’ accommodation, a half day use of a pontoon boat that accommodates nine and includes a Capitan and a $30 food and beverage credit for food on the boat. The pontoon boat, part of Skipper Bud’s fleet, will be docked at The Edgewater’s Pier, and be ready for guests use upon requested time. Rates start at $379 for the two-night package.
For guest s who wish to take in Brewgrass Fridays from the comfort of their room, a special Friday night package will be offered featuring a terrace room overlooking The Grand Plaza. Brewgrass Fridays blend Madison’s best views, brews from Door Country Brewing Co. and a classic Wisconsin fish fry while listening to some of the nation’s best Bluegrass bands. Fish Fry available in The Icehouse at 5 PM, live music starts at 6 PM. The package includes a terrace room, overnight self-parking, two fish fry dinners and two beers. Prices start at $269 for the one-night package.
Every summer Tuesday, The Edgewater presents Movies on the Water. This one-night dinner and movie package features a terrace room that overlooks the outdoor Grand Plaza, dinner on The Statehouse Terrace overlooking the movie($50 credit), popcorn and two beers, a picnic blanket and overnight self-parking. Outdoor movies are shown on The Grand Plaza and feature such popular titles as Almost Famous (6/19); High Fidelity (6/26); Pitch Perfect 3 (7/3); The Last Waltz (7/10); A Mighty Wind (7/17); Sing Street (7/24); School of Rock (8/7); The Blues Brothers (8/14); La La Land (8/21) and SING (8/28). Rates start at $259 for this one-night package.
