Two-night package features a guided tour of Madison sites and visit to Taliesin, the architect’s renowned home in Spring Green, Wisconsin

Madison, WI (4/25/2017) — June 8, 2017 marks the 150th anniversary of Frank Lloyd Wright’s birth.  To commemorate the occasion, Madison’s Edgewater Hotel, residing along Lake Mendota, will offer a special two-night Frank Lloyd Wright 150th Anniversary package from June 23 to 25.

The package features a Madison tour highlighting Frank Lloyd Wright’s architectural contributions including Monona Terrace, the University of Wisconsin campus, exteriors of two Wright-designed residences and the First Unitarian Society Meeting House (interior TBD due to event schedule).  Guests will then be driven to Frank Lloyd Wright’s Taliesin Home in Spring Green, WI for a two-hour docent-led walking tour of the house, gardens and courtyard.  A box lunch is provided during the one-hour drive to Spring Green.  The package also includes two cocktails and dinner for two at The Statehouse.
