The Edgewater has long been an iconic lakeside hotel in Madison, Wisconsin. Following a significant renovation, the transformed hotel emerged as an Urban Resort in 2014. Three years after re-opening, The Edgewater sought stronger national and regional recognition. A targeted PR program focused on the prestigious “best” lists along with capitalizing on the resort’s popular summer concert series and a 150th birthday celebration for Wisconsin architect Frank Lloyd Wright. The first year campaign resulted in 60 million impressions in targeted publications along with first-time recognition in the Condé Nast Travelers Readers’ Choice Awards.
The Clark, Colorado based Home Ranch, a 14-room Relais & Chateaux-designated guest ranch with a 36-year-old history, had an established reputation as one of the country’s finest. With a proliferation of new guest ranches coming on the scene, The Home Ranch sought to ignite new interest in its property. Focusing on the ranch’s unique programs, a public relations campaign was implemented and, within a year, the ranch received a steady stream of media resulting in 92 million media impressions. The Home Ranch also received Shape magazine’s healthy travel award and secured a place on Condé Nast Travelers Readers’ Choice Awards.

Travel comes in different forms. Escape Homes and Escape Traveler gave us the opportunity to publicize a very “on trend” product with a key difference. These tiny homes are completely moveable. Their uses range from an airbnb RV campsite to a writer’s retreat, and their distinctive prairie style has Forbes.com calling them the “most beautiful tiny homes in the world.” In 2015 and 2016, we launched six different styles of Escape products and embarked on an eight-city media tour. The media continues to be intrigued and, to date, Escape has garnered more than 600 million media impressions.
