Rebecca Werner – President

With a lifelong passion for travel and extensive experience in hotel public relations, Rebecca Werner has a deep understanding of the industry.

She founded Werner Public Relations in 1999 after ten years with the Four Seasons Hotel New York. Highly skilled in all areas of travel and hospitality public relations, she maintains a “hands on” approach and is highly involved with each client.

Rebecca spearheaded the highly successful hotel opening campaigns for the Four Seasons Hotel New York, The Langham, Chicago, Italy’s Villa Feltrinelli and New Zealand’s Otahuna Lodge. Curious about all things travel, she relishes creating innovative press trip itineraries and loves exploring destinations, discovering new and news worthy stories. Her travel savvy and industry knowledge have made her a “go to” resource.

A graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Madison, Rebecca is a passionate traveler who has visited all seven continents. She is a member of the Society of American Travel Writers (SATW).

Susan Maier – Associate

Susan Maier brings a passion for strategic media relations and storytelling to her 30-year career as a public relations professional.

A highly skilled media relations specialist who intuitively understands the media’s needs, Susan excels at shaping a story and delivering it to the media. Her consistent and professional style of relaying the story and extensive outreach and follow-up has led to substantial media results.

Susan also has in depth understanding of the travel and hospitality industry. As the public relations director for the Four Seasons Ritz-Carlton Chicago for 17 years, she introduced cutting edge programs and managed the hotel’s seven year status as Conde Nast Traveler’s “Best Hotel in the U.S.” – an achievement held longer than any other hotel in the country.

Recognized for her exceptional public relation skills, Susan set up training programs for new Four Seasons public relations directors. She is a graduate of the University of Illinois Champaign-Urbana with a degree in business.
