
The Edgewater Debuts New “Autumn Ale Escape”

Madison, WI – -September 2017 – – The Edgewater taps into seasonal sips with its new Autumn Ale Escape, blending luxury accommodations with a tour and tasting of fall craft beers at the historic Potosi Brewing Company.
Designed for the beer connoisseur and novice alike, the hop-filled weekend kicks off with a six-pack of Stingy Jack Potosi Pumpkin Beer provided upon arrival to the hotel.
Breakfast for two is served Saturday morning in-room or in The Statehouse and includes a Bloody Mary or Mimosa.
Guests are then transported to Potosi Brewing Company for a tour of and tasting of its small batch beers. Located in Potosi, Wisconsin, 85 miles from Madison, the brewery has a long Wisconsin history and is known for reinvigorating small batch, craft brew after re-opening in 2008.
The guided tour takes folks through the Brewery’s state-of-the-art production facility and includes a brew tasting, Potosi pint glass from the gift shop and an annual pass to the adjacent National Brewery Museum & Library.
Upon return to The Edgewater, guests will enjoy the hotel’s popular Fried Clock Shadow Cheese Curds in Augie’s Tavern.
