New partnership combines outdoor activity, wellness & thoughtful indulgence, set to roll out in October 2019

February 18, 2019 – Trek Travel is partnering with Blackberry Mountain – one of the most highly-anticipated new hotels to open in the United States in 2019 –  – to debut a new Blackberry Mountain Bike Tour that blends outdoor activity, wellness and thoughtful indulgence this fall.

The six-day, five-night adventure will offer an immersive experience of luxury, adventure, renowned hospitality and unwavering appreciation for the land.

Scheduled to open on February 15, 2019, the Relais & Chateaux-designated Blackberry Mountain is the creation of the Beall family, the Blackberry Farm masters of hospitality. The 5,200 acre estate will be located on the opposite end of Millers Cove in the Great Smoky Mountains and will serve as a haven for preservation and personal exploration.

Trek Travel guests will base from one of Blackberry Mountain’s private cabins at the crest of the mountain and have access to the entire estate including 2,800 acres of land in conservation.

Trip highlights include cycling around Chilhowee Mountain past rolling farms and ride alongside the shady banks of Waldens and Reed Creeks, fly-fishing in the renowned streams of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park and hiking alongside Lynn Camp Prong past numerous waterfalls.

Blackberry Farm chef will lead guests on a foraging hike and work with them to create simple seasonal dishes utilizing edible plants found on the trails.

Soothing massages and Mountain cuisine focused on creative and healthy ingredients will nourish and enliven the senses throughout the week.

Trek Travel’s Blackberry Mountain Bike Tour will be offered October 6 – 11, 2019  and is priced at $6,399 per person.  A four-day option is available from October 6-9 for $4799 per person.
